BALLSY Colombia fans who smuggled alcohol into their Japan defeat in a pair of fake binoculars have been warned by their foreign office.

The secret swiggers got stuck into the stealthily stashed sauce before losing to the Asian underdogs 2-1.

But British journalist Carl Worswick, based in Bogota, revealed the party had been warned.

He wrote on Twitter: “Colombia's Foreign Office has reminded fans to behave themselves while in Russia after a group of Colombian supporters used a pair of false binoculars to smuggle liquor into yesterday's Japan game.”

Japan got revenge for Brazil 2014 with victory over Colombia in Saransk.

Four years ago Colombia dumped them out the tournament at the group stage with a 4-1 hammering.
